We were completely blown away when we saw this beautiful, romantic NY Jewish wedding shared by Ken Lehman Productions. Bride Julia describes her wedding to Vladimir as French Rococo-inspired, and lavishly elegant. We couldn’t agree more! Photography by Cly Creation. The striking couple met in high school. According to the bride, “We only started dating after college, as Vlad was starting medical school and I was starting grad school. We got engaged three years later, and our wedding approached the five-year anniversary of our first date.”
The chuppah, designed by In Full Bloom, had a soft and romantic feel, with cascading pink and ivory flowers. The venue was the Bourne Mansion, built around the turn of the century in the town of Oakdale, Long Island, NY. The mansion was once a resort for Gilded Age millionaires.
Bride Julia reflects: “The beautiful Renaissance- and Rococo-revival ballroom where the reception was held was originally used for lavish parties for guests that included the Astors and the Morgans. The gorgeous architecture of the space inspired all of the wedding details and elevated the entire experience of the wedding day. We loved pretending like this was our home for a day!”
Fun Fact! Julia co-created her wedding video with Ken Lehman Productions. The hands-on, creative bride created the DVD case cover, DVD start menu background, and cover of the DVD itself.
