This Orlando Jewish wedding was ultra-chic and ultra-modern. The light blue and black color scheme was blended beautifully with soft uplighting and LCD lights. Photography by A Magic Moment.
Dani DeMarco & Adam Meek both attended the University of Pittsburg and happened to meet in 2007 on the day that Dani was moving into Adam’s apartment complex. They became fantastic friends and eventually Adam moved in with Dani and 3 of her girlfriends. They eventually became a couple and Dani’s parents adored Adam. Adam’s mom died of cancer not too long after they became a couple and Dani was there for him through every step of the way. Eventually, they moved to Orlando together. Adam is an engineer and Dani performs at theme parks.
From the bride: We got married at the beautiful Peabody hotel in Orlando. The ceremony and reception were both held there. The colors were light blue and black. We had a chuppah and were married under it by the Rabbi and Adam’s uncle also stood up there to do some readings.
Dani’s favorite detail was having a photo slideshow at the wedding reception. A huge screen displayed the pictures that the photographer took throughout the day. People loved looking at pictures from the day.
It was mostly a Jewish ceremony but since Adam is not Jewish, his uncle, a reverend, stood on the bima and did readings. The couple also lit a unity candle, which tied in both of their religions during the ceremony.
