Christine lights up a room whenever she enters it and loves the classics, right down to her “getting ready” playlist of Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Josh, more of the observer and quiet one, has a surprising love of hip hop and urban culture, and a certain relaxed vibe that worked as a counter to his bride’s spirited personality. They tied the knot in a traditional Jewish wedding on a sweltering August day in Boston. Photography by Kristin Chalmers Photography.
The bride and groom get ready… each to their respective favorite tunes.
The bouquets for the wedding party and bride await their respective owners. The color palette is sweet and understated pastels with a few pops of color.
This wedding is set to run on schedule. Every detail is laid out to the minute!
The sign in book is a beautiful keepsake filled with sepia-toned photos of the couple.
The huppah is prepared with kiddush cups and a glass for breaking.
Their signed ketubah is laid out for everyone to see.
The couple aren’t the only characters at this wedding. Rabbi Joe gives a spirited reading and the bride breaks into giggles.
Josh’s grandfather’s presence is felt everywhere in this day. Rabbi Joe wrapped the couple in his Tallit while they were presented to their guests as husband and wife.
The reception gets underway, and just so there’s no confusion about seating arrangements the couple hangs these cute seating tags.
The day isn’t complete without a toast to Josh’s grandfather with his signature cocktail.
Whoa, there! The bride gets quite a shock as she’s lifted in the Hora dance. Everyone’s having a great time. Mazel Tov to Josh and Christine!
