As soon as Paulina was born, the pediatrician on her first appointment told her mother how lucky she was because her children would have a b’nai mitzvah and that it was a huge mitzvah for their family. Photography by Lasting Memories Photography.
From their mother: The b’nai mitvah took place in Brooklyn, New York, on August 17, 2012. I wanted to make the party equally special for both of my children. I came up with a neutral color for invitations (aqua green) and when Paulina began looking for her dress she found a pink one for herself and a blue for her little sister. Then Daniel agreed to wear a pink vest and pink tie with his tuxedo. I thought… wow, cotton candy. Also, since the venue was smaller and not very well lit I wanted to use white to make the place look bigger, lighter, more neutral and fit into our cotton candy theme. All the elements came together with brother and sister sharing equally in moment, and the event went off without a hitch. Their mother gives a lot of credit to her amazing team of vendors. She continues:
I used A2Z for entertainment and party favors. I was ready to trust them with their ideas and gave them full authority to bring and incorporate as much as they were able to. A2Z were beyond my imagination. I have made a separate room where A2Z included all the games and activities. The room was so amazing that the adults were lining up to get tattoos, use the poker table and the money machine.
I was lucky to get everything I wanted from the pictures by amazing Lina, Lasting Memories Photography (she has done pictures of my kids before and I loved her work and always get complements from anyone that visits my home and sees all the pictures on my walls) to the video by Visualaz, to the delicious and gorgeous cakes by Master Sweets, to Aramat Events that created the breathtaking decorations.

I think the best advice would be to think of the children when creating such big events. When the children have fun the adults will as well. Throughout the party my children came up to me every hour or so to thank me for making this party for them. The room with games was a big hit, and I was lucky to feel comfortable with everyone I was working with to create this amazing party and bring it to completion. When I saw my final pictures, I was extremely grateful to Lina of Lasting Memories Photography for reminding me and giving me some time to put my lipstick on.
