Lee and Caryn tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony at Washington DC’s Hotel Monaco. Their August wedding was delicately sophisticated, with understated décor and classy embellishments. Photography by Robert Holley Productions.
Caryn’s gown showed her true style, with an intricately detailed bodice and floor-length skirt. Her diamond jewelry was as well styled as her dress, providing the perfect pop of sparkle.
An bouquet of mixed ivory flowers was elegant, tying in well with the reception’s décor and ambiance. A matching ribbon gathered around the stems added subtle sophistication to the upscale event.

Having the aisle placed so that the couple walks towards the guests, rather than through them, is an interesting way to maximize space. Plus, it allowed all of Caryn’s loved ones to see her entire walk to the alter.
Bouquets bursting with summer hues lined the aisle, while a bundle of greenery tastefully tied the corners of Lee and Caryn’s simple white chuppah.
The newlyweds made it official, sharing their first kiss as husband and wife under the chuppah.
Before the ceremony began, the couple signed the ketubah while witnesses looked on. The elaborate tree design is common for the traditional ketubah, often representing growth and life. This ketubah can be purchased from Ahuva.com.
As the ceremony came to a close, the party got started with a lively hora. It was hard to decide whether the couple or their quests enjoyed the dance more!
High vases of the same colorful flowers seen during the ceremony made for eye-catching centerpieces. For a clever and inexpensive detail, ornate gold frames with charming storylines about the couple were placed on each table. They personalized each setting and shared more about the bride & grooms’ relationship with their guests.
Lee was nothing but smiles during the couples’ first dance, letting everyone know how happy he was to call Caryn his wife.
This geometric gold cake created a high-end look, while the flower topper resonated the sophistication of Caryn and Lee’s reception décor.
We are happy to share Lee and Caryn’s modern and sophisticated wedding day and wish the couple both nothing but happiness in the future!
