Rebecca’s NYC Rockin’ Eve Mitzvah seemed like the perfect theme for this January bat mitzvah. Rebecca loves New York City, the quintessential place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. So Rebecca decided to combine the thrill of NYE with her passion for NYC. Pink was the accent color, as seen by the lighting and all the details around the room. Planned by Party Perfect Orlando and photographed by Jennifer Werneth Photography, this bat mitzvah definitely rang in the new year with style!
Pop-up invitations set the tone from the start. The creative invitation featured the nighttime NYC skyline accented with pink fireworks. The Statue of Liberty was the inspiration for Rebecca’s bat mitzvah logo.
NYC Theme Taxi Cab Escort / Place Cards
Having always loved New York City, Rebecca’s taxi cab place cards appropriately (and adorably) displayed the table names as different Manhattan neighborhoods. SoHo, Upper East Side, and Greenwich Village were among the guests’ seating placements.
For every annual Rockin’ NYE celebration, there’s a New York City subway station nearby. Rebecca’s stop came in the form of a sign-in board, with her party’s name cleverly depicted in the recognizable subway design.

Pink & Silver Bat Mitzvah Centerpieces and Decor
What’s more NYE than the ball dropping? Each table had an array of Times Square-style balls and pink pops of color. And of course, lots of shimmer! You can’t think about NYC and NYE without thinking sparkle, so Rebecca made sure there was no shortage of it at her bat mitzvah. The linens dripped with all the glitz and glamour of an actual New Year’s Eve party.
Food, Cocktails & Desserts
There was no better way to honor Rebecca’s favorite dessert than a bar set up specifically for it! S’mores of every variety were available, and look how endearing that marshmallow-holding Statue of Liberty is!
Mitzvah Project: Rebecca likes to connect with people and took a special interest in her local Ronald McDonald House. She planned, prepared and served a meal for the 30+ guests staying at the House as her Mitzvah Project. Becca talked with the residents at the House, and learned their stories, listening to their family hardships and what it was like helping their loved ones. She was able to lend a sympathetic ear and bring a home cooked meal to these people, who were all incredibly appreciative of both. It was a wonderful experience for both the residents and Rebecca.
Advice from Mitzvah Mom: “The best advice I can give is to have fun – it’s a wonderful celebration that should be enjoyed! I was able to relax even more knowing that our event was in great hands with our wonderful event planners at Party Perfect!”
Mazel Tov to Rebecca, and her whole family. Her event was absolutely fabulous, and we are so happy to have been a part of it!
