Elisha and Aaron first met as college freshman, where they were both involved in Ohio University’s Jewish life. After a proposal on Elisha’s 25th birthday, the college sweethearts married in a southern Jewish wedding at The Garden on Millbrook in Raleigh, NC. BREALPHOTO captured the whole day for us to enjoy.
Both bride and groom were the epitome of southern charm, with Elisha’s detailed tulle and lace gown capturing every ounce of the day’s spirit and romance.
The personalized wire hanger always makes for a lovely bridal shower gift, but the detail on her shoes really steal the show! What an amazingly clever way to make these pumps a special keepsake from the day.
Elisha’s father made this beautiful chuppah, with her uncle’s tallit forming the weightless covering. The bride recalled standing beneath it with her new husband as the day’s best moment.
The couple incorporated many Jewish traditions, including customary prayers, circling each other, and breaking the glass.
Elisha and Aaron’s wedding party danced their way into the reception to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.”
Consider using maps from the bride and groom’s respective hometowns, the city where they met, or vacations they took as a backdrop for photos and decor.
The southern-inspired meal was paired with the couple’s favorite seasonal beer from Big Boss Brewing Company, so these college-themed beer koozies were the perfect party favor!
This wedding had a lot of personal, clever details and really showed the love between Elisha and Aaron. We are so happy to have been a part their special day and wish nothing but happiness for the lovely couple!
