It was love at first sight for Alina and Rafael, who tied the knot at B’nai Israel in Florida last fall. A breathtaking temple wedding showcased the couple’s love while paying homage to their Jewish and Russian roots, all captured by Jeff Kolodny Photography, Inc.
Beautiful bride Alina, the new Mrs. Foss, shared a first-hand account of her big day with us. Describing her wedding as extravagant, elegant and magical, we can see all of those things just from these stunning pictures of her before she said “I do.”
Wedding Gown & Accessories
Jeff Kolodny got some amazing shots of the beautiful bride.
Rafael got in on the action as well, posing with a Bentley.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore black, accented with red flowers for a bold, striking effect. The bridesmaids dresses featured ruffles similar to Alina’s gown, making for a gorgeous, cohesive look.
Jewish Wedding Ceremony
Chuppah & Ceremony Decor
The set-up was exquisite, with an abstract floral wedding aisle created by unique lighting. Vases filled with orchids and candles lined the aisle, giving the room a soft, romantic glow.
The table for the programs and yarmulkes was decorated with an eye-catching floral arrangement in the wedding color palette of white and bling!
A white draped chuppah featured white roses and a crystal chandelier. Tall florals with red uplighting added to the dramatic and dazzling look.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Foss after saying “I do!”
Alina shared with us that after her father and mother walked her down the aisle, her father whispered in Rafael’s ear: “I trust you.” Cue the tears!!
Jewish Wedding Reception
After cocktail hour (and a half), the reception began with a 12 minute horah! We don’t know what we love more about this picture: the sheer happiness on Alina’s face or how amazing her dress looks!
Centerpieces & Decor
White roses and hydrangeas made for gorgeous centerpieces, and pink uplighting added a striking element.
Glamorous Wedding Cake
When asked her favorite wedding detail, Alina shared that her cake…takes the cake! She once showed Rafael her dream cake, and he surprised her with just that on their wedding night! Seven tiers of serious bling came to life and served as a delicious and beautiful focal point of the evening!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and these photos leave us speechless. The happy couple looked to have the best night with their family and friends.
The only thing sweeter than the couple’s candy table was them! Alina told us that in Russian tradition, when a toast is made, everyone says “gorca” meaning bitter, and then the couple must kiss! This is because alcohol is bitter and a kiss is sweet! Awww!
Mazel Tov Alina & Rafael! We wish you nothing but the best!
