Brian’s Bar Mitzvah took place on May 9th, highlighting “The Journey of a Boy” and celebrating his growth into manhood. The innovative party was designed and styled by Swank Productions and captured by 5th Avenue Digital.
The party theme centered on the existential, incorporating timelines as well as galaxy-like lighting and textures throughout the space.
At a young age, Brian is kind, poised and eloquently versed – truly an old soul in a teenager’s body!
He is also a talented actor and magician, so the event was held at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, NY and included touches of classic Hollywood.
Swank Productions used galactic blue lighting to set the stage for modern details like glitter, sequin and shiny linens.
Different textures and gradients of blue and silver further highlighted the celestial theme of the night.
Linens by Nuage Premiere Skirting, starburst centerpieces and fiber optic lamps also picked up on the event’s color palette.
Thomas Preti provided food and beverages for the teens in their own private room where they enjoyed interactive games and a magician (who happened to be Brian’s magic teacher!)
On the Move Entertainment kept the party going on a lively dance floor from Tower Productions.
From start to finish, Brian’s Bar Mitzvah was filled with unique design, fun details and love for a special young man. Thank you to David Nicholas of 5th Avenue Digital for capturing it all!
