This Jewish wedding was the perfect blend of old-school sweet southern charm and modern flair. Elana Navon and Ben Wells tied the knot at the Reform Jewish Congregation of Charleston, South Carolina – Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim. Photography by Reese More Weddings.
The cobbled pavement and plentiful trees were simple and romantic, and the historic temple needed little decorating.
This young couple was surrounded by loved ones, including a very spirited group of groomsmen.
At a time like this, a girl needs her gals, and this bride’s got plenty on hand.
The bride and groom share a moment together outside the temple.
In their gorgeous ketubah, artist Amy Fagin captures the physical embrace of love. With “Embrace”, this spiritual moment is described in word, symbol, shape, pattern and color. “Embrace” by artist Amy Fagin, and can be purchased at Ketubah.com.
Jewish Wedding Programs & Yarmulkes
Bright teal dresses up the programs and makes for colorful kippot.
Guests wrote their best wishes for the couple on river stones before grabbing a favor of fresh tea leaves.
After the ceremony, everyone went to five star Charleston restaurant McCrady’s, where they enjoyed delicious food, local musicians, and an awesome party. Elana and Ben got a send off with sparklers.
They lived happily ever after. The End.
Much thanks to Reese Moore Weddings for sharing these beautiful photos. Mazel Tov to Elana and Ben!
