Whether you’re a ski or snowboard aficionado, hosting an affair in the winter, or simply love the cold weather, a winter-themed party is a great way to incorporate your love into your big day, no matter if it’s a bar or bat mitzvah, Sweet 16, wedding or any kind of event! Here are some ideas to showcase this cool theme.
It’s not your grandmother’s kosher wedding cake with white butter crème icing and a plastic bride and groom on top. Today’s wedding and bat & bar mitzvah cakes are works of art and as much a part of the décor as the table centerpieces. The right backdrop will make your wedding or bat/bar mitzvah cake table and dessert buffet a focal point in the room.
There is so much you can do with a NYC Party Theme! Buildings, landmarks, parks, neighborhoods, bridges, colors, food, taxis….the list goes on and on. Which means the possibilities to express your creativity are endless!

When it comes to planning an event, whether it be a Jewish wedding, bat/bar mitzvah, Sweet 16 or party, it can be easy to overlook the small stuff. No one forgets that big centerpiece sitting in the middle of the table, but what about the rest of the space? Nothing dials down the décor like neglected areas. This is where you want to work smarter, not harder. You want something easy and plentiful. It doesn’t get any more plentiful (and affordable) than water. You’d be amazed by what you can create when you freeze the stuff. Ice décor can be that unexpected touch that gets your guests talking.
