After meeting through a Jewish matchmaking site, JRetromatch.com, Dana and Avi went on a series of dates before Avi proposed on their year and a half anniversary! Both lovers of art, Avi set up a proposal to remember at the Bronx Botanical Gardens during a Monet exhibit, one of Dana’s favorites! The proposal was just the beginning of the memorable moments to come, as they wed at Crest Hollow Country Club in Long Island, NY, photographed by the talented H&H Photographers.
Lily Israel recently celebrated becoming a Bat Mitzvah in her hometown of Orlando Florida, and celebrated with a stunning affair. The theme was All Things Lily, using light pastel colors with pops of bright pink, and patterns that were feminine and fun. Bliss Events by Laurie Anne Portella did an amazing job planning and executing the event, and Scott Watt Photography captured the whole day for us to “ooh and ahh” over this beautiful occasion!
After an inspiring Fashion Week here in New York, Pantone has announced its’ Fashion Color Report for Fall 2014. The colors for the fall are decidedly bold, yet soft, with shades of purple (Radiant Orchid made the cut yet again!), blue, yellow and red in the mix. This palette is an excellent and fun one to turn to for bar & bat mitzvah and wedding inspiration.
Elisha and Aaron first met as college freshman, where they were both involved in Ohio University’s Jewish life. After a proposal on Elisha’s 25th birthday, the college sweethearts married in a southern Jewish wedding at The Garden on Millbrook in Raleigh, NC. BREALPHOTO captured the whole day for us to enjoy.
Lisa and David had a traditional yet unconventional Jewish wedding this past fall at The Swan Club, a gorgeous venue in Long Island, New York.
