Sydney and Riley had a rockin’ (and rollin’) good time at their combined bat mitzvah in Longwood, Florida! A 50’s themed sock hop set the stage for their joyous b’not mitzvah shared with family and friends. Thanks to A Magic Moment, the girls’ special day was caught on camera to help them (and us!) remember it forever.
This bat mitzvah wasn’t just any party, it was quite a show! Sara Brodsky’s circus themed Bat Mitzvah featured all kinds of entertainment including jugglers, professional hula-hoopers, contortionists and even a lady dressed as candy. You could almost say it was the “Greatest Show on Earth”. Well… maybe just the best party in town. Photography by A Magic Moment.
Morgan Imberman is a competitive gymnast with a love of animals, especially monkeys! A jungle theme was perfect for her bat mitzvah on March 2, 2013. The service as well as the party was held at Temple Beth El in Chappaqua, NY. Morgan’s mom Melisa Imberman is a talented event planner and founder of The Event of a Lifetime, so it was no surprise that the bat mitzvah was creative, colorful, and perfectly executed! The family converted the temple into a jungle, but not just any jungle…a neon pink jungle with monkeys everywhere! READ MORE ......→

Bat mitzvah girl Lauren shares two of my favorite loves, so I was very excited to get this submission from Nathalya at NM Events and share it with you all! Lauren and I are both inspired by the Middle Eastern culture, and share a love for the hamsa, as you can see from both of our logos! And I am completely in awe of her photos and the story from her special day. Photography by Dan Aguirre Photography.
Children undoubtedly influence the atmosphere of your wedding; perhaps you and your guests would find a group of adorable youngsters laughingly twirling about the dance floor to be enduring, or perhaps this could detract from your overall vision of a refined affair. The decision of whether or not they should be included should not be taken lightly. If you do ultimately elect to invite kids to your big day, it is wise to take extra measures to make sure they’re comfortable and entertained; otherwise, what might await you is an unrestrained hyper bundle of pint-sized chaos. If you can decide on a mood or a setting that you want to capture, that can set the tone for all the other plans to come. Photography by The Collection. READ MORE ......→
