Your ketubah, or Jewish marriage contract, is truly a work of art that reflects you and your fiance’s style and artistic taste. With so much effort being put into choosing the right ketubah, it makes perfect sense for your ketubah to be an inspiration for other elements of your wedding, or your life! We love the idea of ketubah-inspired chuppah designs! It may take some creativity, but the results can be magical! Here are 6 examples we’re loving:

Cristina and Keith have been happily married for seven years and wanted to have a photo shoot to bring them back to their special day. A hot trend when it comes to throwing parties is giving the event the chic look and feel of a nightclub or lounge. This is especially fun for teen parties, such as bar & bat mitzvahs and Sweet 16s, where the “not quite old enough” guest of honor and friends can experience the feel of a nightclub that is suitable for their age.

When Erika and Adam planned to have their Jewish wedding in a public square in downtown Silver Springs, Maryland, they were admittedly a little nervous about what kind of attention and guests they would attract, but they could not have been happier with the end result. A gaggle of onlookers did indeed join Erika and Adam’s family and friends, but they adopted the same attitude as those invited, and extended nothing but happiness and congratulations to the couple on their nuptials. Photographer Kristin Chalmers had photographed Adam’s brother’s wedding the year prior, and when Erika and Adam got engaged they knew they had to have Kristin do theirs as well.
What boy doesn’t dream of sports, arcade games and delicious food? A party entirely dedicated to him and beautiful decorations don’t hurt either. Jake’s tennis-themed bar mitzvah proved to deliver as much breathtaking ambiance as it did teenage fun. Photographs by: Eclectic Images.
A fully stocked arcade room let Jake’s friends get comfortable and competitive, and wasn’t entirely void of some adult guests looking to get in on the action! Right off the main reception area, the arcade was a perfect alternative outlet for the younger guests. READ MORE ......→
Your invitation isn’t just an announcement of the who, what, when, and where. It conveys your style and gives guests a glimpse into your celebration. It’s the first taste people will get of your Jewish wedding, b’nai mitzvah or event.

Melissa was a bride with traditional tastes. Everything about her style from her flowing floral appliqued gown to her lace trim veil was feminine, classic, and lovely. The beautiful bride kept the look fresh and modern with sparkling Swarovski beaded shoes and a feathered bouquet. READ MORE ......→
