L’Amour in Paris – The Engagement of Letizia and Tim

Girls just love a good romance (some guys, too).  Storybook romance is great, but what’s really amazing is when real life delivers a love story straight out of a novel.  Letizia and Tim’s engagement story of an American couple in Paris certainly fits that category.  Los Angeles photographer Melvin Gilbert just happened to be in Paris at the same time, and he was in on the fun.Paris Engagement Eiffel Tower

Jewish Temple Wedding of Cigall & Jeff, Long Island NY

I can’t believe that today marks two years since our amazing wedding day!  I can still remember the days of getting excited to see Jeff’s name on my caller id.  Never in a million years did I think I would meet my future husband at a random weeknight happy hour!  It seems like just yesterday that he moved all his junk…I mean very important stuff…into my…I mean our… apartment. One year later he proposed with a wonderful surprise weekend at the Gansevoort!

Cig and Jeff EngagementJeff & I knew we wanted to get married in a synagogue, and Temple Beth-El of Great Neck (Cosmopolitan Caterers) was perfect for us.  Family and friends flew in from as far as Israel and France to be with us on our special day. It was amazing to share the experience with so many people we love.  We stayed nearby at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, where we also had the wedding after-party and post-after-party brunch. Bat Mitzvah – Alexa’s Sweet Shoppe & Candy Bar

Back to Bar & Bat Themes

We were completely blown away by the beautiful Alexa and her bat mitzvah photos from Lasting Memories Photography. This awesome bat mitzvah girl is a true sweetheart filled with joy and love. When she was born her dad nicknamed her “Yumminess” because of how sweet and yummy she was, so the theme for the party was “Alexa’s Sweet Shoppe”. Candy was everywhere at the reception and even the ceremony, where soft candy was thrown at Alexa after she read her Torah portion, to symbolize a sweet life.

Alexa’s Bat Mitzvah was April 21, 2012. The ceremony was at The Jewish Center in Princeton, NJ, and the reception was at the Westin also in Princeton. They had a photoshoot a few months before to get portraits for the sign in board and guest book. READ MORE ......

Country Inspired Engagement Shoot

We instantly fell in love with Kandi & Ty and their country-inspired engagement shoot. The adorable couple met at a stop light in downtown Harrison, Arkansas. He is normally a shy guy, so his friend prompted him to roll down the window to talk to her. He finally did with, “Hi.” The rest is history.
